Windows 11 Users:

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard (or click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner, select Delete browsing data).

  3. Set the Time range to All time to remove everything.

  4. Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Delete data. 

  6. Completely close out of Google Chrome.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  3. Select your desired Time range (like All time).

  4. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Clear now.

  6. Completely close out of Microsoft Edge.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  3. Choose Everything from the time range menu.

  4. Check Cookies and Cache (or Cached Web Content).

  5. Click Clear.

  6. Completely close out of Firefox.

MacOS Users:

Apple Safari

Safari splits data clearing into two parts if you want to keep your general browsing history while removing cookies and cache.

Step 1: Clear Cookies

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Click Safari in the top-left menu bar and select Settings (or Preferences).

  3. Go to the Privacy tab and click Manage Website Data...

  4. Click Remove All, then confirm by clicking Remove Now.

Step 2: Clear Cache

  1. In the same Settings window, switch to the Advanced tab.

  2. Check the box at the bottom that says Show features for web developers (or Show Develop menu in menu bar).

  3. Close the Settings window.

  4. Click the newly visible Develop menu in your top menu bar and select Empty Caches.

Step 3: Close the App

  • Press Cmd + Q on your keyboard (or click Safari in the top-left menu bar and select Quit Safari) to completely shut down the application.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.

  3. Set the Time range to All time.

  4. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Clear data.

  6. Press Cmd + Q (or click Chrome in the top menu and select Quit Google Chrome) to fully close the app.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.

  3. Select All time from the time range menu.

  4. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Clear now.

  6. Press Cmd + Q (or click Microsoft Edge in the top menu and select Quit Microsoft Edge) to fully close the app.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.

  3. Choose Everything from the time range dropdown menu.

  4. Check the boxes for Cookies and Cache.

  5. Click Clear Now.

  6. Press Cmd + Q (or click Firefox in the top menu and select Quit Firefox) to fully close the app.
