Step 1. Open a browser window (Preferably Google Chrome) and type in the URL bar
Step 2. Enter your login information. If you are a student your login will be your first name and last name (lowercase) with a period in between. For example: John Doe’s username would be john.doe. If you are a staff or faculty member your login will be the first letter of your first name and your last name. For example: Professor John Doe’s username would be jdoe. Please click continue.
If you encounter a password request after entering your username, you may have typed your username wrong. You should Not have to enter a password on the initial page Please open a new tab and follow steps 1-2.
Step 3. You will next be asked to sign in again. However, you will not use the same sign-in that you previously used. This will be your sign-in to Microsoft issued through Coker. Your sign-in for this page will be your full email address. For students, it would be [email protected] and for staff and faculty, this will be [email protected].
Step 4. You will now be prompted to enter your password. This is the same password used to access your Coker
University Email. Your default password follows this format: First 4 letters of your last name (First letter capitalized) +
Your full birthdate (MMDDYYYY).
For example, if your name is John Doe and your birthdate is February 15, 1996, your password would be
Doe*02151996 (A * is added if your last name has fewer than 4 characters).
Step 5. Choose to stay signed in or Not. If you are using a personal device that only you use, it is advised to choose yes. Choose no if you are temporarily using the device to sign in.
Step 6.
If this is your first time logging into CobraStop in a while, you may see an additional Microsoft screen asking you for more information. This extra step is required to set up your multi-factor authentication (MFA) options.

Step 7. You should now be logged into Coker Self-Service
