Step 1. Open a browser window (preferably Google Chrome) and type in the URL bar https://selfservice.coker.edu

Step 2. Enter your login information. If you are a student your login will be your first name and last name (lowercase) with a period in between. For example: John Doe’s username would be john.doe. If you are a staff or faculty member your login will be the first letter of your first name and your last name. For example: Professor John Doe’s username would be jdoe. Please click continue.

If you encounter a password request after entering your username, you may have typed your username wrong. You should Not have to enter a password on the initial page Please open a new tab and follow steps 1-2.

Step 3.  You will next be asked to sign in again. However, you will not use the same sign-in that you previously used. This will be your sign-in to Microsoft issued through Coker.  Your sign-in for this page will be your full email address. For students, it would be john.doe@coker.edu  and for staff and faculty, this will be jdoe@coker.edu.

Step 4. Next, you will be asked to enter your password for Microsoft. This will be the same as your password for your Coker email. Both of these passwords will be your birthdate. If you would like to change your password, you may do so by clicking forgot my password and following the steps to reset it to a password of your choosing. You can then press sign in after you have entered your password.

Step 5. Choose to stay signed in or Not. If you are using a personal device that only you use, it is advised to choose yes. Choose no if you are temporarily using the device to sign in.
